We will provide current news from a pedigree slant as we become aware of it. We might see a longshot worth a look, or an emerging crosss worth considering, or anything we feel might be better said that ignored. We are not trying to be all things to all people.

Articles

There are over 100 articles on particular thoroughbred pedigrees, families, or the gene pool in general. There are articles on current SW's and greats of yesteryear. Opinions, speculation, suggestions and predictions will be mixed in with straight talk and inside information as best we believe it.

Good thoroughbred horses produced by our matings are listed on the left and presented below with a tad more detail. They each have an article as well giving the driving reasons we did the mating.

Predict A Nicks

Predict A Nicks evolved from our success in profiling new sires. In such cases, every damsire whose daughters are suggested to be used with a young sire represent a prediction. That we get such good results when there is no historical data to calc a nick factor makes these a valuable item in our arsenal.

Sire Profiles

When we profile a young thoroughbred sire we disect his pedigree "all the way back" and look for strains most likely to reinforce those he evolved from. We then provide a list of sires whose daughters return those strains to the sire. That Distorted Humor stood 2008 for $300K is testimony to the impact a profile can have. We only do these in return for lifetime breeding rights.

Bloodstock

Our thoroughbred bloodstock services have resulted in purchase of several mares carrying SW's and/or from whom we have produced SW's thru our mating suggestions. Commerce is not ignored as Butterscotch Sauce, for instance, was collared for $40K carrying a $260K yearling.
